Jessica Scout Malone is a fight choreographer, director, and dramaturg currently based in Boston, MA. 

Jess was born and raised on Long Island, NY and has spent some time living in Brighton, England. She is named after Scout Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird, and when she grows up she wants to be fictional White House Press Secretary CJ Cregg.

Jess received her BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University in 2017. She has also trained in Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She is an Actor Combatant certified by the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD), and has currently completed Level 1 of her training with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC).

Jess believes in active listening, self-evaluation, and the rule of threes. She believes in the transformative nature of sharing. She is grateful for the existence of podcasts and proud to live on the same Earth as Guy Fieri. She believes in the fight towards abolition and supports the Movement for Black Lives. She believes in believing in people, loving things loudly, and using the arts to bridge the gap between who we are and who we want to be.
